The Irish Golfer Magazine has produced its first Top 100 ranking of golf courses across Ireland and Northern Ireland. With a small panel of six and criteria that includes facilities and the ‘visitor experience’, not surprisingly there are some curious results – starting with Portmarnock at #1, Portstewart at #27 and US President Donald Trump’s Doonbeg course finishing behind the likes of Royal Dublin, Ballyliffen and Portsalon.
