Golf Digest Ireland publish a Top 100 ranking every single year, and there tends to be only minor changes at the top of the list. New for 2020 was Hogs Head by Robert Trent Jones II which is ranked 42 in Ireland/Nth Ireland. Adare Manor also reappears on the list after being closed for a major Tom Fazio led redevelopment. Previously ranked #9 in 2016, the redesigned layout is now considered the 10th best course in Ireland/Nth Ireland.
Among the notables ranked from 51 to 100 are Ballybunion (Cashen) at 60, Powerscourt (West) at 64 and the lovely Ardglass course at 75.
