Media Release — With its grand opening now scheduled for Oct. 27, KN Golf Links Cam Ranh is ticking off a punch list of home-stretch necessities, including the launch of a new website that showcases everything golfers may want to know about the next Greg Norman-branded club in Vietnam.
Accessible at KNGolfLinks.com, the site features everything from attention-grabbing visuals of the 27-hole facility to information on the venue’s various five-star services and associated amenities including the soon-to-open Wyndham Grand Cam Ranh, a 234-key hotel that will overlook the 17th and 18th holes on the Links Course.
“The website is also fast, easy to navigate, and responsive across the many mobile devices now on the market,” said Simon Mees, KN Golf Links’ general manager. “And it looks great, which makes it the perfect online billboard for what we’ll be offering here.”
From a multi-dimensional coastal landscape that tendered a variety of development possibilities, Norman and his design team have crafted a pair of world-class layouts at KN Golf Links — the 18-hole Links Course and the 9-hole Oasis Course.
“The Links Course plays hard and fast, just like a traditional links course,” said Mees, “while the Oasis Course feels somewhat like a tropical Augusta (National, site of the famed Masters golf tournament), with beautiful flowers, streams and trees. Golfers are going to love the contrasting styles.”
The courses are Norman’s third and fourth in Vietnam, and the first in Cam Ranh, a new resort destination taking shape along an 8-kilometer stretch of white sand less than an hour’s flight from Ho Chi Minh City.
Since 2015, more than 30 hospitality projects have been licensed for development along the gently curving strip. Many are hotels that do or will carry a world-renowned brand name.
To accommodate the expected influx of tourists, a new, US $163 million international terminal opened in June at Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR).
The upgrade opens the door to as many as 8 million passengers per year once the second and final phase of the airport renovation is complete.
“Cam Ranh is on the cusp of becoming the next great hot spot in Southeast Asia,” said Mees. “Having a golf course the caliber of KN Golf Links is only going to speed that process.”
In addition to images by esteemed golf course photographer Gary Lisbon and pages about membership opportunities and upcoming tournaments, visitors to KNGolfLinks.com will find links to the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, the option to view the site in English or Vietnamese, and an archive of informative news releases.
KN Golf Links is part of KN Paradise, an 800-hectare integrated resort venture that is also slated to include an array of upscale villas for sale, a gaming complex and a private beach club.
The entire development is owned by KN Investment Group, which also owns the award-winning Long Thanh Golf Club near Ho Chi Minh City and popular Long Vien Golf Club in Vientiane, Laos.
KN Golf Links is managed by KN Investment Group in consultation with IMG Golf Course Services, which has assisted more than 100 golf clubs worldwide over the last 25 years.
