In Volume 3 of The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, Tom Doak published that:
“The public side of the public/private Pumpkin Ridge development, Ghost Creek has “playability” written all over it, at the expense of character and interest. The decision to build smaller greens on the public side was a counter-intuitive choice, but they do give the course its challenge while keeping the maintenance costs down.”
The Ghost Creek Course at Pumpkin Ridge received a score of 5 out of 10 from Tom Doak, and a score of 5 out of 10 from one of his co-authors.
