In 2013, a redesign of the North course at Mākena was entrusted to 35-year veteran of golf design, Dennis Wise. Wise handcrafted each hole’s transformation, creating 18 unique experiences.

As a former Senior Designer of 28 years with architectural legend Tom Fazio, Wise was a leading contributor to an international design firm known for its award-winning golf courses.
