In Volume 2 of The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, Tom Doak published that.
“Copperhead is an old-school “championship” course that proved quite popular among the players when the Tour came back here a few years ago. It’s hillier than one would expect for Florida, but not so tough as to discourage resort guests. At one point it briefly slipped onto the GOLF Magazine list of the top 100 courses in the U.S., when I was running the list; a few years later I discovered that I’d added up the ballots wrong in its favor.”
The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort received a score of 5 out of 10 from Tom Doak and a score of 6 out of 10 from one of his co-authors.
