In the shadow of the imposing mountain of Montserrat and surrounded by vineyards lies one of the best golf courses in Catalonia — the Masia course, part of the DoubleTree by Hilton Barcelona Golf complex (formerly known as the Hotel Barcelona Golf Resort).

Opened in 1989 under the name “Club de Golf Masia Bach”, the DoubleTree by Hilton Barcelona Golf Resort always welcomes visitors and guests. DoubleTree by Hilton Barcelona Golf Resort has two courses approved by the RFEG: the Masia Course and the Sant Esteve Executive Course. The two courses are distinctly different, although both are designed by the captain of the European Ryder Cup 2012 champion team, Jose Maria Olazabal, considered one of the best golfers in the world today.

No doubt this is the most prominent appeal of the Resort is thanks to its unique and challenging design that will surprise the most experienced and demanding golfer, hole after hole. The golf course layout has attracted first-class competitions such as the Spanish Professional Championship in 1991, the Peugeot Tour Spain in 2003 and 2005 and the Catalonia Ladies Masters in 2007, part of the Ladies European Tour circuit.
