Unique layout in that it has 14 holes built on an island in the Vaal River (above). The other four are on the mainland, so there is a long walk across a road bridge to get to them. The river is a feature of the five excellent finishing holes on the back nine. Part of a housing estate; and one of the homes continues to serve as the clubhouse. Despite being open for only three-and-a-half years, it has already hosted the SA Amateur (2011) and other tournaments.
