Designed by Nicklaus Design, the Steyn City Golf Course is an 18-hole championship layout that opened in 2014. The course measures in excess of 7,000 from the back tees and plays to a par of 72. All 18 greens were built to USGA specification, with Bentgrass surfaces.

The golf course occupies an old quarry site, making use of a number of natural canyons on the property. The Jukskei River flows through the course, which is part of an integrated residential estate.
