Golf Digest South Africa says -
In among the bleak mine dumps of the East Rand is this tree-lined oasis of a course, an unexpected delight in an unfashionable area. The greens are modern, but the layout is reminiscent of golf in the old Transvaal, as is the rudimentary clubhouse. This was a favourite of Bobby Locke in his younger days, and today it’s one of the hidden gems of the East Rand. Another is Pollak Park.
