Golf Digest South Africa says -
This isolated layout in the heart of the Waterberg bushveld is a golfing treasure, regarded by many to be the crowning design achievement of Peter Matkovich.
It’s a championship course with an excellent array of different holes, in what is still undisturbed natural bush.
The layout undulates through rolling countryside, with the final two holes offering contrasting experiences next to a large water hazard. The ninth is a superb par 3, and the 18th a risk-andreward par 5. The clubhouse is set on a ridge overlooking the closing holes.
