In Volume 1 of The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, Tom Doak published that.
“This lovely little course occupies a broad point jutting into the Firth of Forth, just to the west of Gullane. The small clubhouse and the par-3 1st hole are perfectly welcoming, and the par-3 8th across the beach at the far end of the course is a hole you’ll remember long afterward. At 5500 yards from the tips, many would dismiss it, but if there were more courses like this where you could play in two and a half hours after dinner, golf in the rest of the world would be thriving.“
Kilspindie Golf Club received a score of 4 out of 10 from Tom Doak and a score of 4 out of 10 from one of his co-authors.
