An attractive and unassuming James Braid links, Golspie is located in a small Scottish Highlands town and set right beside the sea and with terrific views of the surrounding hills. The course features a mix of undulating linksland and rather dull park terrain, and consequently the holes themselves range from fun and original to ordinary and dull. The ground by the sea is naturally more exciting for our game, with the most interesting features here being a handful of really wicked green sites, such as the tiered 16th and severely angled 17th, and the wildly undulating 18th fairway.
Golspie isn't a world beater, but this is still a good, solid fun golf course that most will enjoy playing.
