“The full course here is 27 holes, but I didn’t get to see the Ocean nine, which had suffered extensive damage in the hurricane a few months before my visit. Of the 18 holes I did see, only one stood out – the par-4 5^th on the Canyon nine, where you carry a deep canyon diagonally off the tee and then back again on the approach. I haven’t had the pleasure of staying at the adjacent resort, Las Ventanas el Paraiso, but my wealthiest sources say it’s the most blissful place imaginable.”
