The latest addition to the bulging Baja Peninsula golfing landscape, is the stunning Danzante Bay golf course by designer Rees Jones, which opened its full 18 holes for play in late 2017.

Set 300 miles north of Cabo San Lucas near the town of Loreto, the Danzante Bay golf course routing looks to capture the best of the region’s views, sometimes at the expense of routing flow and walkability. The 18^th tees, for example, are located midway down the 16^th fairway. The par three 17^th is a spectacular looking island into itself, that you play and then drive back down to get to the 18^th tee.

With views of the bay, the surrounding mountains, the Sea of Cortez and the Islands of Loreto, Danzante Bay is sure to attract attention and prove a popular addition to the golf available in this part of the world. The overall development includes high-end resorts and a residential subdivision.
