The golf course at Cabo Real could almost be described as a poor mans Cabo del Sol, given somewhat similar topography and a couple of beach-front holes, 14 and 15, that superficially resemble the original 5th and 7th holes on the Nicklaus Ocean Course. There isn’t quite the golfing high at Cabo Real unfortunately, despite a couple of nice par threes with ocean views and some decent angled tee shots. Ultimately, the rounded mounding and generic Trent Jones II bunkering make things rather forgettable, although good conditioning ensures the experience remains popular with many guests.
