A mere 15-minutes drive from the metropolis of Kuala Lumpur and located in the self-contained township of Bandar Sungai Long, Cheras, Selangor, Sungai Long Golf & Country Club offers its members and guests a world-class golf course designed by golf master Jack Nicklaus, the first Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course in Malaysia.

Officially opened in November 1992, our club has re-opened in January 2013 after undergoing major renovations including the upgrading of the entire golf course greens with certified TifEagle - Bermuda grass, Tifdwarf for the tee box and Tifway 419 for the fairways, guaranteed to enhance the challenge for a magnificent golf game.

Our limited number of members enjoys exclusive privileges such as unfettered access to an immaculate golf course and enjoy the game at their own pace.

Our dedication to excellence has seen our club accorded ‘The Best Maintained Golf Course” by Golf Malaysia Magazine back to back annually from 1995-2007 in addition to being the host for the 2001 SEA Games.

Sungai Long Golf Course is the first international championship golf course in Malaysia designed by golf master Jack Nicklaus and as such, the legend himself drawn on all his designing experience to craft a unique course while maintaining the natural character of the terrain. Jack Nicklaus’ attention to architectural flow and the variety of shots that must be boldly struck combined with superb conditioning and maintenance.

Stretched across 160 acres of scenic greenery, this 18 hole par 72 course challenges to bring out the best in every golfer at every turn with excellent water features and strategically placed slopes, mounds and traps. At 7,019 meters long and with features such as specially designed bunkering, immaculately groomed greens, generous landing areas, sculptured fairways and paved card paths that weave throughout the meticulously landscape, it’s no wonder that we call it our “Garden of Eden”.
