With an impressive old clubhouse, forests of birch and oak, stone walls and excellent practice facilities, the Circolo Golf Torino club is a popular club for well connected Turin golfers who generally enjoy their rounds on the Percorso Blu course design by John Morrison in 1924. The golf doesn't quite match the quality of the establishment's other offerings, however as fairways are quite flat and dull and much of the shaping is basic and unappealing. The mounding, flattish greens and shallow bunkering hold it back and prevent the club providing members with anything like the sort of classic golf John Morrison is renowned for.
With some sensible redesign and careful maintenance improvements, though, this could be a great old golf course.
