“With a large local membership, the club does not seek out overseas visitors, so it was off my radar entirely until Masa told me it was a MacKenzie course. It’s a parkland course running uphill from the waterfront, with a good selection of short holes and two very good par-5’s in the 7^th and 12^th holes. However, I believe they’re going backwards architecturally, with changes to the first four seaside holes in the name of safety and many of MacKenzie’s greens neutered by topdressing and shrinkage.“
