The first golf course appeared on the links of Embleton Bay in 1900, before being redesigned by the legendary James Braid. A traditional links course, guarded with bunkers and gorse, golfers will need to judge the ever changing wind direction as the course bends around the bay and back.
Benefiting from free draining links land, Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course often remains open through periods of inclement weather, when other courses in the region may be forced to close. And playing onto regular greens in all seasons means the course offers a great golfing experience year round.
