Characteristic features of the course include unique elevations from tee to green, fairways protected by sand traps and lakes, plus lush forests surrounding the greens. Past players of note include Jasper Parnevick, David Leadbetter, Hale Irwin and more.
The 7,021-yard layout consists of two distinct returning nines wandering through native forests, lagoons and along 1.6 miles of white sand Pacific Ocean beach.
The par fours are long and uphill, which means that you might lose one or two clubs’ distance due to the elevations and sea level. A robust sand game is key – due to the 63 traps strategically placed throughout the course. As mentioned above, hole seven alone boasts 13.
