In Volume 3 of The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, Tom Doak published that.
“We stopped in here to have a look at the deep punchbowl green of the 230-yard 9th, but kept wandering because we found that all of the holes around the clubhouse were appealing. The strong par-4 2nd and short 3rd with its green hanging out on the end of a ridge make for an appealing start, and the fine par-4 18th with a backboard slope on the green does its best to encourage a bold approach.”
The Kanawaki Golf Club received a score of 5 out of 10 from Tom Doak.
