The original 18 holes at Royal Golf Club du Hainaut are known as ‘Les Bruyeres’ nine and the ‘Le Quesnoy’ nine, and were designed by Tom Simpson in 1933. Martin Hawtree added another nine-holes for the club in 1990, making Hainaut a strong 27-hole golf complex near to the city of Mons.
The original 18 Simpson holes are among the finest of the older courses in Belgium, and meander through a mature pine forest and feature wonderful green complexes.
