The Kingswood Golf Club merged with the Peninsula Country Golf Club in 2014 to form the Peninsula Kingswood Golf Club. As a result of the merger, this storied centurian in Dingley Village in southeast Melbourne is to be converted from a golf course into a residential precinct.

The developer was unsuccessful in having the property rezoned in 2018 for residential use, but unless given a last-minute reprieve as a public access golf course, Kingswood shall close at the end of 2018.
