Palm Beach Golf features an 9-Hole Golf Course. Only a fifty-minute drive from the CBD of Sydney, the club is nestled between Pittwater and Palm Beach, under the Barrenjoey Lighthouse.
Palm Beach Golf Club isn't just about golf, we also offer a unique and memorable setting for both golfing and non-golfing events. We offer a function room that can host birthday parties, weddings, corporate functions, anniversary celebrations, fund raisers and a wide array of other special events.
The clubhouse also provides a range of golfing equipments and accessories, like golf carts and clothes.
The Course is located on an isthmus under the escarpment of the Barrenjoey Headland with its historic lighthouse and the comparatively sheltered waters of Pittwater on its western side and Pacific Ocean lies to its east, the natural ambiance cannot be fully appreciated till done so in person and arguably enjoys one of the most beautiful golf settings in the world.
To the uninitiated this relatively flat course appears to be a bit of a ‘doddle’ at first, however as shown with past Pro-Ams very rarely under competition set up is the course par of 64 achieved. This 4176 metre course has given many good golfers a basic lesson in course management, a fact that is further attested to with its revised layout record of 59.
Like most courses, Palm Beach has its’ ‘Signature Hole’. At its south east corner the Number 2, Par 3 can tell some terrible tales. This innocent looking hole has claimed more scalps than any other during club Medal Rounds with scores over 20 often being recorded. Although for the men it’s circa 140 meter distance is not great it requires a carry of almost the same distance with large 15 meter tall Fig trees edging the green.
The Clubhouse, directly across Beach Road from the course has a superb balcony that provides members and visitors with the perfect place to relax and enjoy a refreshment, snack or meal after their game.
