Melton Valley Golf Club has occupied its present site since 1932. The Club grew slowly to a relatively small 180 members in 1987, when the course and clubrooms were demolished and completely rebuilt under the guidance of Golf Course Architect, Tony Cashmore. The course was constructed at a cost of approximately $800,000 in 1987, reopened in May 1988 and is now recognised as one of the best in the Western and Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
