From the club website:

Claremont Golf Course is one of the most scenic golf courses in Tasmania. It is surrounded on 3 sides by the Derwent River with amazing views to Mt. Wellington and Mt. Direction. The course itself has 18 holes with a Par of 71 and total distance of 5667 metres.

Claremont is the only private Golf Club with public access, situated in the northern suburbs of Hobart and is within close proximity to the city and surrounding suburbs. The club has a long history in the area and welcomes new members.
