Designed by Bill Coore and built primarily by shapers Riley Johns and John Hawker during the COVID-19 lockdowns of 2020, the Bougle Run course at Barnbougle Dunes is a 14-hole short course made up for 12 one-shot holes and two drivable par fours.

According to the Barnbougle Dunes website, the holes are occupy tall, dramatic coastal sand dunes between the front and back nines at the established Lost Farm course, and take in some of the highest dune elevations on the entire Barnbougle property.

Although set further back from the coastline than the two older courses, it enjoys lovely aerial-like views over the Lost Farm Course and Anderson’s Bay.

First opening for play in March 2021, Bougle Run was designed to be a fun, challenging addition to Barnbougle’s two full links that is playable for golfers of all abilities – and in under two hours.
