Portuguese designer Jorge Santana da Silva is the owner of the GolfDesign business, based in Lisbon.

Educated as a surveyor, Santana da Silva worked in the 1980s and 90s for American golf architects Robert Trent Jones Sr and Cabell Robinson in their European offices. He started his own business in 1993, and has mostly worked on projects in his home country, such as the Laranjal Course at Quinta do Lago.
