Ian Andrew is a talented course architect who worked with Doug Carrick before establishing his own design practice. The restoration work done by Andrew's at St George’s Golf & Country Club in Canada (mostly bunker work) was first class and one can only hope that it not only leads to more such projects, but also some new course design work.

Ian Andrew clearly understands both the theories and practical elements required to make great golf holes, and more importantly he displays a genuine passion for classic design and the leading designers of the golden age. Having previously announced plans to create courses in partnership with Canadian star Mike Weir, he chose to work with American Tom Doak on greens restoration at St George's.
