The Links at Crowbush Cove

Canada, Prince Edward Island
5.7 (6)
Designer: Thomas McBroom
Course Opened: 1994

Some are disappointed by Links at Crowbush Cove because it plays nothing like a genuine links, while others lament the fact that despite being pushed up against the PEI shoreline, it lacks real excitement save for a couple of holes near the end like the 16th across a beach and then the tiny par three 17th into a pimple green.

Rather than a links, a more accurate description might be TPC Sawgrass-lite, as the pot bunkers and heavy mounding are offset by cross lake approach shots, all-carry par threes and the fact that most greens are designed to favor the aerial approach.

The nearby Cabot courses have further highlighted the shortcomings here.
